21 Savage family, wife, children, parents, siblings

Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph (born October 22, 1992), better known as 21 Savage, is an American rapper living in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born in London and relocated to Atlanta with his mother when he was seven years old.

After releasing two mixtapes in 2015, he gained international attention with the release of the collaborative EP Savage Mode (2016) with Metro Boomin; its singles “X” (featuring Future) and “No Heart” peaked within the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100, and 21 Savage’s profile was later increased with a guest feature on Drake’s 2016 single “Sneakin'”. In January 2017, he secured a recording contract with Epic Records.

He began dating model Amber Rose in June 2017, but the couple split up in May 2018.

21 Savage is signed to Epic Record, which is owned by Sony Music Entertainment. He has two sons and a daughter named Kamari, Ashaad, and Rhian, all of whom have separate mothers.

21 Savage held the “Issa Back to School Drive” (called after his album Issa Album) in his Atlanta neighborhood in early August 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. The program provided free haircuts, hairstyles, school supplies, and uniforms.

On The Ellen DeGeneres Show in March 2018, 21 Savage announced the formation of the 21 Savage Bank Account Campaign (named after his hit song “Bank Account”), as well as a $21,000 donation to the cause.

“I launched the 21 Savage Bank Account Campaign to help kids learn how to save money and make money, and to open bank accounts for kids,” he explained. He gave $10,000 to Atlanta’s Continental Colony Elementary School four months later to sponsor an anti-bullying campaign.

21 Savage’s parents and siblings

The son of Heather Carmillia Joseph and Kevin Cornelius Emmons, 21 Savage was born on October 22, 1992, as Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph at Newham University Hospital in the Plaistow neighborhood of London.

His mother is from Dominica and his father is from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; they are both British citizens with Caribbean ancestry. Since his father works for Westminster City Council and his paternal grandfather was Haitian, his father and twin sisters, dance choreographers Kyra and Jayda Davis, now reside in London.

21 Savage’s brother Terrell Davis-Emmons was murdered in the U.K. in November 2020.
